Before you start

Things you will need

1. 1. Your email address.
2. 2. Your email password.

Procedure

1. Open up Outlook 2010
2. Click the File menu, click Info on the menu bar and click Account Settings.
   
3. Select Account Settings from the drop-down list.
4. On the Email tab, click New, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and then click Next.
   
5. On this next page, it asks for Your Name, E-mail Address, Password, and Retype Password. Don’t fill this out as we will do it later on.
6. Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types radio button, and then click Next.
   
7. Click Internet E-Mail, and then click Next.
   
8. In the Add New E-mail Account dialog box, click Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and then click Next.
9. Click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, and then click Next.
10. Click Internet E-mail, and then click Next.
11. Enter your name in the Your Name field.
12. Enter your new email address in the E-mail Address field.
13. Choose IMAP as the Account Type.
14. Enter “mail.airstreamcomm.net” in the Incoming mail server (IMAP) field.
15. Enter “mail.airstreamcomm.net” in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field.
16. Enter your complete email address in the User Name field.
17. Enter the password in the Password field.
18. Click More Settings…
    
19. Click the Outgoing Server tab.
    
20. Check the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box.
21. Make sure that the Usersame settings as my incoming mail server is clicked.
22. Click the Advance tab.
23. Change Incoming server (IMAP) port number to 143.
24. Check both This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) boxes under the Server Port Numbers field.
25. Change the Use the following type of encrypted connection to Auto.
26. Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port number from 25 to 587.
27. Click OK.
28. Click Next.
29. Click Finish.
