Before you start
Things you will need
- 1. Your email address.
- 2. Your email password.
Procedure
- Open up Outlook 2010
- Click the File menu, click Info on the menu bar and click
Account Settings.

- Select Account Settings from the drop-down list.
- On the Email tab, click New, select
Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and then click
Next.

- On this next page, it asks for Your Name, E-mail Address, Password, and
Retype Password. Don’t fill this out as we will do it later on.
- Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types radio button, and then click
Next.

- Click Internet E-Mail, and then click Next.

- In the Add New E-mail Account dialog box, click
Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and then click
Next.
- Click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, and then click
Next.
- Click Internet E-mail, and then click Next.
- Enter your name in the Your Name field.
- Enter your new email address in the E-mail Address field.
- Choose IMAP as the Account Type.
- Enter “mail.airstreamcomm.net” in the Incoming mail server (IMAP) field.
- Enter “mail.airstreamcomm.net” in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field.
- Enter your complete email address in the User Name field.
- Enter the password in the Password field.
- Click More Settings…

- Click the Outgoing Server tab.

- Check the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box.
- Make sure that the Usersame settings as my incoming mail server is clicked.
- Click the Advance tab.
- Change Incoming server (IMAP) port number to
143.
- Check both This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) boxes under the
Server Port Numbers field.
- Change the Use the following type of encrypted connection to
Auto.
- Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port number from 25 to
587.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
