FTP
- Why does WS_FTP tell me that my login failed ?
If, when using an FTP program, you receive a message saying that your
login has failed please read the following suggestions/questions:
- If you are trying to upload items for use on your web site please make
sure that you are using your proper username and password. If you are
POSITIVE that you have entered in the information properly and are still
receiving an error about your login, please call Technical Support or
send email to:
help@airstreamcomm.net
Often times there are strange characters in passwords that can cause a
problem with a login. Most notably passwords that begin with a minus (-)
symbol can cause a problem. Tech Support can resolve this problem
quickly for you. PLEASE DO NOT email us your password. If you email a
password you will AUTOMATICALLY be assigned a new password! ( and it
will be another ugly password!)
- If you are trying an anonymous login and are receiving errors, make
sure that you are not typing in the word anonymous, but rather are
placing a check mark in the box for an Anonymous Login.
