GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • How can I connect to AOL though Airstream without long distance fees ?

Here is how to connect to AOL through Airstream:

  • Once you are connected to Airstream, you can open your AOL software and click on Setup and Edit Location.
  • On both sides of the screen click on the down arrow and choose TCP/IP from the list.
  • Click on Save and then go to where the phone number is listed and wipe out the phone number so that the AOL software does not try and dial the phone number.
  • Once you are connected to Airstream you open up the AOL software and it will use your local connection to get to AOL.

This Works 98% of the time. Note: Please note that you must have already called AOL and established an account with them. Only those who have an existing account with AOL may connect through their Airstream connection.
