• Why does my Macintosh keep adding file extensions to things I am uploading ?

Where do these file extensions keep coming from?

• How can you stop this from happening?
• Open Fetch and click on Customize.
• From Customize, select Preferences.
• In the Drop Down menu, select Uploading.
• If there IS a check next to "Add file format..." remove it.
• This will stop the Macintosh from adding additional extensions to the end of the files you are uploading.
