Adding an account.

1. First open the Email app from the home screen or launcher tray. Note that this app is different than the Gmail app.
2. Open the Accounts screen by pressing the menu button and picking "Accounts".
   • In the Setup Email screen, enter your email address and password.
   • If you’re adding a second or subsequent email address, you can also check the
     option to use the new account to send all outgoing messages.
3. Touch "Manual Setup"
4. Select "IMAP"
5. Enter any other information requested by the type of account you’re adding and
   touch Next.
   • Note: The IMAP Server is mail.airstreamcomm.net on Port 143. Security Type is none.
6. After the phone verifies your settings it will take you to the SMTP server settings. Enter any other information requested by the type of account you're adding and touch Next.
   • Note: The SMTP Server is mail.airstreamcomm.net on Port 587. Security Type is none. And select "Require Sign-in".
7. After the phone verifies your settings it will take you to the final options screen. Select "Send email from this account by default" and any other options you'd like on this page and press the Next button.
8. On the final screen you can name this account to help to distinguish it from other accounts. Touch Done when you are ready to proceed.

Editing an account

3. Locate the account you'd like to edit from the list and long touch it to open the context menu.
4. On the context menu, select "Account Settings".
5. Scroll down to Server Settings sections and touch "Outgoing Settings"
6. On this screen, adjust the following settings to match the information below:
   • SMTP Server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
   • Port: 587
   • Security Type: None
   • (Check) Require sign-in
   • Username: your email account's username
   • Password: your email account's password
7. When you're done touch "Next" and let the phone verify these settings.
8. Touch the Back button when complete to return to the mail account list or your inbox.
   

Blackberry (close)

Adding an account.

1. From the home screen go to Setup by pushing the nav button and then scrolling down.
2. Select Email Accounts.
3. Select Internet Mail Account.
4. Select Other for the Account type.
5. Type in your Airstream Communications email address and select Continue.
6. The Blackberry software will fully configure all settings needed.

Apple iPhone (close)

Adding an account.

1. Tap Mail
2. Select Other
3. Enter your account information and tap Save.
   • Incoming IMAP Server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
   • Port: 143
   • Username: your email account's username
   • Password: your email account's password
   • SMTP Server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
   • Port: 587
   • Security Type: None
   • (Check) Require sign-in
   • Username: your email account's username
   • Password: your email account's password
4. Mail configures most email accounts automatically. Otherwise, you will be prompted for any additional settings.
   Once your account information is saved - you can start sending and receiving email.

Edit an account.

1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Under Accounts, tap the account from which you're trying to send mail.
2. Under Outgoing Mail Server, tap SMTP. If you don’t see Outgoing Mail server, you may need to tap account info first.
3. Tap your SMTP server. Select On on the On/Off slider.
   •  Note: The SMTP Server is mail.airstreamcomm.net on Port 587. Security Type is none. And select "Require Sign-in".
4. Return to the SMTP screen. If additional items are listed under Other SMTP Servers, turn those on as well.
   

Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 (close)

Adding an account.

There are several different ways to access the Mail application. Open that as you normally would or select "Setup Email" from the Control Panel/Settings screen via the Start Menu.

Enter the following information as requested during the setup:

• Email Address: your email address
• Password: your email account's password.
• Incoming IMAP Server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
• Outgoing SMTP Server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
• Server Type: IMAP

When you are finished select the "Done" option.

Editing an account.

1. Open your mail application
2. Press "Menu" then "Tools" then "Options"
3. Select "Account Settings"
4. Select "Edit Account Setup"
5. Press Next, then Next again, then Next again and Next one more time. You should now be on the "Outgoing (SMTP) mail server" settings screen.
6. Make sure the settings are
   • Outgoing SMTP Server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
   • (Check) Outgoing server requires authentication
   • (Check) Use the same name and password for sending e-mail

Microsoft Windows Phone 7 (close)

Adding an account.

1. From Start, flick left to the Applications list, press Settings and then press Email & accounts.
2. Press Add an account > Other account.
3. Press the Email address box and then type your email address.
4. Press the Password box and then type your password.
5. Press Sign in.
6. Once the auto-check has been completed, press Advanced and verify the following settings:

• Account name: This is the name of this account, such as "home", to distinguish it from others.
• Your name: The name you'd like to appear on your messages.
• Incoming email server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
• Account type: IMAP
• User name: Your username for this account (the portion of your email address before the @).
• Password: Your password for this account. Outgoing (SMTP) email server: mail.airstreamcomm.net
• (Check) Outgoing server requires authentication
• (Check) Use the same user name and password for sending email

Editing an account.

1. From Start, flick left to the Applications list, press Settings and then press Email & accounts.
2. Tap and Hold the account you'd like to Edit.
3. Verify the settings are as described above.
